These tours are an opportunity to put the learned skills into practice. We will be venturing out into the mountains in a varity of locations.
Activity Notes
Ski Mountaineering Tour #2
The ski tour will start at the Meadows HRM parking area. We'll skin up the ridge to the East of Heather Canyon. Then plan to ski the East slopes off the ridge. We'll return the the parking lot via the Heather cat track.
We'll meet in the HRM parking area where the cat track intersects the lot at ~8AM depending on traffic. We can coordinate carpools from Gateway or possibly Troutdale. We will coordinate this by email.
