Rampart Ridge features a stunning view of Mt Rainier. This short loop route starts from the Trail of Shadows, traverses an ancient forest, and ends with the Wonderland Trail.

Activity Notes

Iconic snowshoe trip in Mt Rainier National Park! Ideal for those planning an early start to 2019 but not staying up past midnight. Please bring micro-spikes or yak trax too, as we'll decide which gear to use based on snow conditions. We'll definitely traverse an ancient forest, and if the weather is clear we may get a closeup view of the great volcano. We will meet at the Gateway Transit Center.
