Lookout Mountain from Hwy 35

Activity Notes

This hike offers great views of the East side of Mt. Hood weather permitting.  We will start from Highway 35 and climb up a forested slope to Gumjawac Saddle and then onto Lookout Mountain which offers great views to the East.  Be prepared for cold, rain, or snow and I will forward any last minute changes on gear.  Likely we will run into snow and depending on the depth we may need snowshoes.  For sure bring Microspikes or Yaktracs.
