Activity Notes
The Prospectus Please take time to read the prospectus, all the information below can be found there with a greater level of detail. I also recommend bringing a printed copy with you (including map). Note the start time is 7am, which is the time I expect you to be at the trailhead ready to hike out. We?re going to head counter clockwise around the loop. This hike we will work on the basic knots you need to learn for the class, and we will work on rappelling, probably the most technically challenging skill you will work on during class. Please bring all of your climbing gear with you (listed above) on this hike (and every hike). We can also discuss gear choices, backpack packing, etc. Whatever questions you may have! GEAR Please bring your helmet, harness, belay device, autoblock, cordelette, and all necessary carabiners. You will need all your climbing gear on EVERY HIKE because we?ll have ropes to practice skills with throughout the day. Please bring all necessary gear to keep yourself warm and dry throughout the day, the forecast is calling for mixed rain and snow. I recommend bringing trekking poles, gaiters, and a dry change of clothes for the ride back.| Other Information | |
