Activity Notes

We expect the weather to be cool and crisp if not actually wet with precipitation. Let's hope for the former!

This hike gradually climbs from just outside Cascade Locks up and along a ridge that very roughly parallels the Columbia Gorge. We will take a side trail to the Indian Point for lunch and views if there are any to be had - when the views are out they are among the very best in the gorge. We won't be climbing the volcanic plug that makes up the point, but you can regard it nonetheless.

This hike will continue even if the weather is poor. Onward!
