Commonly done during the Basic Climbing Education Program (BCEP), this hike is a good conditioner for climbing Mt. Hood as well as practicing rope team travel and crampon techniques.

This is a conditioning hike to the top of Palmer ski lift. There will be a few opportunities for short breaks, and the pace will be approximately 1,000 feet per hour. Let the hike leader know if you have any questions about the hike or pace.| Other Information | |
