Activity Notes

We will meet at the Staircase Campground Friday night, where the leader is planning on spending the night.  Staircase is a first come, first serve campsite. We’ll need to coordinate to figure out who will be the first to arrive so they can grab a site for the team. There will be a pre-climb meeting at 9:30pm. The climb leader plans on spending Saturday night at Staircase.

The approach for this climb is steep - 3250 feet in three miles to Wagonwheel Lake and then additional cross country elevation gain via snowfields. We will have to evaluate snow stability as we approach the summit. There are some class 3 and 2 moves to approach the summit.
