Double Peak is a rugged twin-spire peak on the eastern side of Mt. Rainier seven miles south of Cayuse Pass.  Much of the route is off trail requiring good route finding skills. Despite the imposing view of the peak from a distance, the final summit climb is considered an easy scramble. Early season ascents with snow on the ground may make the off trail portion a little easier.
