Located just NE of Mt. Rainier, this easy stroll is great for families. There is an old lookout on top. The road system in Mt. Rainier was heavily damaged in the November 2006 storm. The drive to this section of the park will considerably longer than normal. I do not expect SR 123 to be open in time for the climb. Plan to use I-5 and Highway 410 to get to the Sunrise Area.
