Located in magnificent Mount Rainier National Park, Pyramid Peak is a prominent satellite of Mt. Rainier. It is located at the base of Success Cleaver. Any other place it'd be a fine peak, but standing next to Rainier it appears on be a pimple on an elephant. Nevertheless, it's a fine "car to car in a day" scramble peak with minimal technical requirements. When you see it, the reason for the name will be obvious.
