Aneroid Mountain is the easternmost peak of the high Wallowas. Nearby Aneroid Lake is a popular destination for day hikers and backpackers, and Aneroid Mountain has an easy approach from the lakes area. The climb itself is a rocky scramble. The views down to Bonny Lakes and to the southeast make a striking reward. Information from 75 Scrambles in Oregon by Barbara Bond.
