This is an aptly name hike if ever there was one. Hike in a fern-filled ancient forest on the bank of Eagle Creek. This loop hike involves lots of slip hazards; poles and boots with good tread are highly recommended in rainy season. Your reward is the best-preserved ancient forest in the lower Clackamas River watershed.
