2019 Chuckwagon Hike

For nearly seven years, Rick Amodeo, Mazama hike leader, and Charles Barker, Mazama Lodge Manager, have led various “Chuck Wagon” events throughout the Mount Hood National Forest. Because of a scheduling conflict this year, they were unable to plan their usual chuck wagon weekend trip. Instead, this year they are planning something much simpler and something that will take far less time!

On Saturday, October 19, join Rick and Charles for a one day hike up Hamilton Mountain, starting from the WPA picnic shelter in the parking area. There will be Hot Coffee and Pastries from 8AM-9AM, followed by the hike and then a hot lunch at 12:30.
