(Online) Anchor Basics

The Mazamas are excited to share the basics of sport climbing anchors with you on this first Zoom webinar. This webinar will be available on both Zoom and Facebook Live. Topics will include anchor components/materials, fundamentals of a proper anchor, and demonstrations of several common anchor constructions. We will wrap up the hour with a generous Q&A session. In order to get the most out of the webinar we recommend you try to practice along during the demo portion. So, if you have access to (4-6) locking carabiners (some non-lockers are fine too), sewn double-length runners (nylon or dyneema/spectra), and perhaps a cordellette (20 or so ft. of 7mm accessory cord) those materials would be helpful.<br> Link to Zoom
