This is a pleasant hike to a couple of interesting geologic formations. You'll cross the Herman Creek Bridge, a large steel truss bridge. From here, the trail climbs, sometimes steeply to the Pacific Crest Trail. You'll come to Pacific Crest Falls and shortly after, the Herman Creek Pinnacles.
