This is a very strenuous hike.
the first 1.4 miles is 2500 feet. to put that in perspective, that is twice as steep as dog mt
once at the top the trail goes down a very steep rocky outcrop. So you need to be comfortabe with exposure and steep rock
You should have hiked up steep routes in the last few months and be in very good condition
wear study boots
recommend poles, bring at least 2 liters of water
