East Fork Nehalem River Section Dog Friendly Hike

This will be the fourth section of our Crown Zellerbach Trail Hikes.  We will meet at the Nehalem Divide Trailhead.

This part of the trail follows the headwaters of the East Fork of the Nehalem River and follows the logging road through the forest down to a vast meadow that was the site of Camp 8, a logging town active in the 1920's to 1930's.  We will cross the East Fork Nehalem on a bridge and turn around at the Wilark Trailhead.  Lunch will either be here or back at Scaponia Park on the way back.  Leashed Well Trained Dogs are welcome, but you don't need a dog to attend.  This hike is 11.6 miles with an elevation gain of 660 ft.
