The affinity group She\, They\, Us is hosting an indoor climbing meet-up on Novembe r 6th at Portland Rock Gym& nbsp\;(NE).

\n\nOn the second Thursday of every mo nth\, \;we host a \;monthly indoor climb night. \;We meet in t he lobby at \;6:30pm. All abilities and skill levels are welcome. Make sure to arrive early if you need to pass a belay test or get a day pass.< /p>\n\n

\n\nShe\, They\, Us is an inclusive and welcoming community of women\, genderqueer\, and gender non-conforming folx interest ed in the outdoors. We create opportunities for women\, gender non-conform ing\, and genderqueer people to learn new skills\, hike\, and climb in a s afe environment. We strive to encourage each other and promote growth in o rder to build a new generation of climbers through mentorship. By supporti ng each other\, we help each other achieve goals outdoors\, feel empowered to try new things\, and grow. We hope to build a supportive network and f oster a sense of belonging for all who participate in our affinity group a ctivities. We are committed to anti-racism and welcome dialogue about inte rsectionality. Our vision for this affinity group is to offer activities t hat celebrate diversity for historically underrepresented gender expressio ns in the climbing and outdoor space. She\, They\, Us is a collaborative s pace that will continue to evolve and grow\, informing and inspiring each other along a path to further awareness.
