The affinity group She\, They\, Us is hosting an indoor climbing meet-up on October 9th at Movement Portland.

\n\nO n the second Thursday of every month\, \;we host a \;monthly indoo r climb night. \;We meet in the lobby at \;6:30pm. All abilities a nd skill levels are welcome. Make sure to arrive early if you need to pass a belay test or get a day pass.

\n\nShe\, They\, Us is an inclusive and welcoming community of women\, genderqueer\, and ge nder non-conforming folx interested in the outdoors. We create opportuniti es for women\, gender non-conforming\, and genderqueer people to learn new skills\, hike\, and climb in a safe environment. We strive to encourage e ach other and promote growth in order to build a new generation of climber s through mentorship. By supporting each other\, we help each other achiev e goals outdoors\, feel empowered to try new things\, and grow. We hope to build a supportive network and foster a sense of belonging for all who pa rticipate in our affinity group activities. We are committed to anti-racis m and welcome dialogue about intersectionality. Our vision for this affini ty group is to offer activities that celebrate diversity for historically underrepresented gender expressions in the climbing and outdoor space. She \, They\, Us is a collaborative space that will continue to evolve and gro w\, informing and inspiring each other along a path to further awareness.< /p>\n\n
