DESCRIPTION:<p>Over the last few years\, the question of why the Mazamas h
 ave a Foundation has been asked by some Mazama members\, staff\, council m
 embers and even members of the Mazamas Foundation.&nbsp\; To address this\
 , a working group was organized to review this issue.&nbsp\; This &lsquo\;
 Mazamas EC + Foundation Workgroup&rsquo\; has been conducting meetings to 
 explore the future necessity of the Mazamas Foundation.&nbsp\; This work g
 roup is balanced with members of both the EC and the Foundation Board.&nbs
 p\; As this may appear to be controversial to some of the membership\, it 
 was felt that our communication plan should include an <a href="https://dr
 ive.google.com/file/d/1Z15QRF-aqGQxWOUg30FRdiQRye5pVzfm/view?usp=sharing" 
 target="_blank">FAQ</a>.&nbsp\; This Frequently Asked Questions Document\,
  is intended to answer the anticipated most popular questions.&nbsp\; Addi
 tionally\, we will arrange an online &lsquo\;Virtual Town Hall&rsquo\; mee
 ting at 7pm on July 28th\, 2020 to address any specific question you may h
 ave on this decision.&nbsp\; We have set-up an email address to direct any
