Cascade Head offers spectacular views of the Oregon Coast and an unbeatable spot to eat a well-deserved weekend lunch. It is only ~4.5 miles round trip, leaving us some time to catch another short hike on the way back...

Drift Creek Falls features a unique suspension bridge over a coastal forest waterfall. ~3.5 miles round trip.

Some notes:

  1. These trails can be muddy, especially if it there was recent rain. Please bring some good boots that you don't mind getting wet! Also bring a waterproof jacket if rain is forecast.
  2. This hike is about 175 miles of total driving. Carpools are encouraged, and please remember to bring gas money for your driver!
  3. Bring a Northwest Forest Pass if you have it, especially if you are planning to drive a carpool.

Total distance ~8 miles, total elevation ~1800ft.
