Come to spectacular Rocky Mountain National Park for a 7 day car camping/hiking trip in Colorado.

Activity Notes

Rocky Mountain National Park's 265,000 acres offer a spectacular range of mountain environments. Meadows and lakes in the subalpine zone and the mountain peaks located in the alpine zone.  Along the way we will explore over 300 miles of maintained hiking trails and incredible wildlife viewing.

Participants will have the choice of B-C level hikes. We will be camping at Glacier Basin group campground in the Park. We may have to move sites once or twice within the campground.

Covid-19 vaccination, the Mazamas Covid-19 Badge, is required of each team member for safety of the group.

COSTS:

Participants should plan for two charges relating to this Outing - the deposit (listed below and charged automatically upon acceptance) and the final invoice (remaining balance depending on team size) to be billed by email invoice.  The team size, Leaders and Participants, could range from 7 to 15 members.

For Mazamas members, the deposit is $60.  The total cost range (including deposit) for the 7-day Outing is $152 -$307.  For nonmembers, the deposit is $120.  The total cost range (including deposit) for the 7-day Outing is  $212-$367.  

Participants are responsible for their travel and meals.  Because rental cars can be scarce, participants are encouraged to reserve rental cares immediately after signing up.  Car rental reservations can usually be canceled later without penalty.
