Come along for an overnight trip to Clear Lake Lookout, a remote tower in the Mt Hood backcountry. The USFS rental can only be accessed by skis or snowshoes, from a distance of 6.4 miles. Winter sleeping bag required.

Saturday: Snowshoe to Clear Lake lookout (3.2 miles)<br> Sunday: Clean cabin, return to car. Optional evening snowshoe.

Winter sleeping bag, pad and overnight gear required. Volunteer-led with trip fee donated to Mazamas nonprofit and shared rental fees. Guests share chores such as hauling firewood, sweeping and melting snow. 3.2 miles, 900'.

Snowshoes and headlamp required. Sno-park permit required. Meet at Gateway Park & Ride. To register, please include a friendly photo and profile bio, listing any applicable outdoor experience. Responses start January 10th or earlier.

Adventurous Young Mazamas (AYM) hosts events for those in their 20s/30s, open to everyone 18+ who can safely participate.
