This is an C level Mazama Hike that occurs in a non-wilderness area. C level hikes are difficult or strenuous hikes with either over 15 miles in distance or over 3,000 feet elevation gain. C level hikes require you to apply; once you apply you will receive an email within a few days letting you know if you have been accepted onto the hike.

Activity Notes

Conditioning hike. This hike is steep and has a boulder field to navigate. Please bring lots of food and at least 3L of water. Poles are recommended. We will go at a moderate pace.

We will carpool from the Columbia Gorge Outlet Mall (accessible by TriMet Bus 77) at 7:00A.M. and start hiking from North Bonneville Trailhead at 7:45A.M. A Northwest Forest Pass is required. Suggested carpool donation is $8 per passenger.
